She is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Pomona College. She works on philosophies of selfhood, love, and sex, and is specialist in continental European philosophy—especially phenomenology, existentialism, and poststructuralism—and feminist philosophy. She co-hosts the Overthink podcast and YouTube channel. Ellie received her Ph.D. from Emory University in 2016. Her work has been featured inThe Washington Post, Slate, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, and more. She lives in Los Angeles.
